kcalIngredients
- For the Sliders
12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work great!)
8 large eggs
½ cup milk (for fluffy eggs)
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon butter (for cooking eggs)
12 slices bacon (cooked until crispy)
6 slices cheddar cheese (or American cheese, cut in half)
- For the Butter Glaze (Optional, for Extra Flavor)
3 tablespoons melted butter
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional, for a hint of sweetness)
Directions
- Prepare the Bacon
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Lay bacon slices in a single layer.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- Scramble the Eggs
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring gently, until eggs are fluffy but slightly soft (they will continue cooking in the oven). Remove from heat.
- Assemble the Sliders
- Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom half in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
- Evenly distribute the scrambled eggs over the buns.
- Layer the bacon slices over the eggs.
- Place half a slice of cheddar cheese on each slider.
- Place the top half of the buns over the fillings.
- Add the Butter Glaze & Bake
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and maple syrup (if using).
- Brush the butter mixture over the top of the buns.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
- Serve & Enjoy!
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into individual sliders. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Make It Healthier: Use turkey bacon and whole wheat slider buns for a lighter option.
- Cheese Variations: Try pepper jack for a spicy kick or Swiss for a milder taste.
- Egg Bake Method: Instead of scrambling, bake the eggs in a greased 9×13 pan at 350°F for 12–15 minutes, then cut into squares for easier assembly.
- Freezer-Friendly: Freeze sliders individually and reheat in the microwave or oven for a quick breakfast!
Storage & Reheating
Storage: Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating:
- Oven: Wrap in foil and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
- Air Fryer: Heat at 350°F for 3–4 minutes.
- Microwave: Heat in 30-second intervals until warm.
Make-Ahead Tip: Assemble the sliders the night before, cover, and refrigerate. Bake when ready to serve.
